About us

We believe that eating & drinking are two of life’s great pleasures. When the shop, formerly a much loved family newsagent, became available in 2025, we wanted to share that love of good produce – from the best that Cornwall has to offer along with our favourite, more exotic finds. After a swift refurb, the doors reopened, fortunately with all our wonderful, original staff along with a few more local gems added to cover the extended opening hours we now offer.

So we’ve still got the papers but it’s more about what we love best these days – really great food and drink.

We’re committed to sustainability and supporting local independent suppliers & producers as well as bringing you some favourite brands we’ve found on our travels too.
